Vikrant Varshney
Enterprise risk leader; first Asian inductee, BCI Hall of Fame; Co-founder, SucSEED
Vikrant Varshney is a highly reputed expert in enterprise risk management and business continuity with more than 25 years in the field. Named Industry Personality of the Year four times — globally in 2007 and 2018, for India in 2017 and for India & South Asia in 2018 — he became the first Asian professional to enter the Business Continuity Institute’s ‘Hall of Fame’ and chairs the BCI Hyderabad Chapter.
His corporate career includes senior assignments with HSBC, Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, Prudential, RSA, GE Capital and the Tatas. At HSBC he served as Chief Security & Fraud Risk Officer for Global Operations, overseeing risk across 65,000 employees at 32 international sites, and he helped lay the foundations of the BCI’s presence in India between 2004 and 2010.
He is CEO and Managing Partner of Risk Resources and co-founder and Managing Partner of SucSEED Indovation Ventures, a Hyderabad-based early-stage fund backing deep-tech startups. An alumnus of ISB Hyderabad, IMI New Delhi and AMU.
