NISSMAT — the National Institute of Security, Safety, Management and Applied Technology (“NISSMAT”, “we”) — operates this website from Premier House, New Delhi, India. This policy explains what information the site collects and how it is used. Questions: nissmat@nissmat.com.
What we collect
- Forms you submit. The contact form collects your name, email address and message; the newsletter form collects your email address. We use these solely to respond to you and to send updates you asked for. They are delivered to our official mailbox and are not added to any third-party marketing database.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details for security and troubleshooting, as virtually all websites do.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand aggregate visitor patterns — pages viewed, approximate region, device type. We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool that counts page views without setting cookies or storing personal data (see the Ahrefs privacy policy). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Usage recording (Microsoft Clarity). We use Microsoft Clarity to capture how visitors use and interact with this website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay — an anonymised picture of scrolling, clicking and navigation. We use this information solely to improve the usability, content and performance of the site and for security purposes; we do not use it for advertising. - Embedded videos. Pages embedding our YouTube channel’s videos load content from YouTube (Google). When you play a video, YouTube may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising or third-party ad trackers on this site.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Sharing
Information is shared only with the service providers that make the site work (web hosting, email delivery, Google services listed above), each bound by their own published data-protection commitments. These currently include our hosting provider, Google (analytics, embedded video), Microsoft (usage analytics) and Ahrefs (cookieless traffic measurement).
Retention & your rights
Form submissions are delivered to our mailbox and also stored in the website’s secure administration area; both copies are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and maintain ordinary records. You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from updates — write to nissmat@nissmat.com and we will act on it promptly.
Cookies
The site itself uses only functional cookies (for example, remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice). Analytics and embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies as described above. You can decline non-essential cookies via the cookie banner and control cookies entirely through your browser settings.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
