NISSMAT has been training the people who keep India’s workplaces safe since 1990 — whether an individual enrols with us, or an organisation asks us to train its own people at its own premises.
Since 1990
NISSMAT began with in-campus courses for private security guards, head guards and supervisors. Fire-services training followed, run in tandem with Jawaharlal Nehru University, alongside second-career programmes for ex-defence personnel entering the private security industry. Thirty-five years on, the same faculty of retired Directors General of Police, General officers and senior specialists teaches the same subjects to a considerably larger industry.

On-site, for your organisation
We come to you and train your people together — a shift, a department or an entire building. Built around your premises, your risks and your obligations, and scheduled around your operations. This is how most corporate training with us happens.
Open programmes, for individuals
Courses an individual enrols in to build a career in security and safety — guard, head guard and supervisor training, and second-career programmes for ex-servicemen.
Running now: Executive Fire Safety Course (P1)
A half-day, on-site programme for corporate teams of 15–30 — theory, a live extinguisher demonstration and a full building evacuation drill. Every participant leaves having actually discharged an extinguisher, not merely watched one. See the programme.

Certification
Participants receive a Certificate of Completion issued by NISSMAT, recording the programme, the date and the hours attended.
NISSMAT is developing partnerships with awarding organisations so that selected programmes can carry external certification. We will name each partner and the certificate it awards once those arrangements are formally in place — we would rather say nothing than say something a participant cannot verify.
