Recipient of various awards in the country, including the prestigious Kautilya Award conferred by the Council of International Investigators, Mr. Ahluwalia has chaired various national and international associations — including serving as Past President and Chairman of the Council of International Investigators, USA. He was bestowed this honour amidst a host of world-renowned investigators from around 50 countries across the globe.
He is a founding member of International Business Research Associates, Hong Kong; a member of the World Association of Detectives, USA; The Ligue in Switzerland; INTELNET in the USA; and of ASSOCHAM, FICCI and the Confederation of Indian Industry. He is a member of the All India Private Detectives Association, in which he chairs the Legislative Committee; a Governor in the Central Association of Private Security Industry; and a Board member of the Security Sector Skills Council.
He was awarded the Malcolm Thomson Award in South Africa in 2012 by the Council of International Investigators, USA, for his devoted services to the Council, and was named Investigation Personality of the Year 2013 by the TEMI Group. He has also been a member of the ASIS Investigations Council.
