Sheila Ponnosamy
Former President, Council of International Investigators; Mainguard International
Sheila Ponnosamy served as President of the Council of International Investigators (CII) in 2014-15, becoming the first Asian woman elected to lead the US-based association of more than 300 investigators from over 50 countries. In her role as Business Development Manager she has handled numerous conflict-resolution issues, and she has delivered talks at panels and conferences across Asia and Australia.
Based in Singapore with Mainguard International, she has more than 20 years of experience managing investigative casework. The CII named her International Investigator of the Year in 2010 for her role in solving an international kidnapping case in which the victim had been missing for ten years, and honoured her with its Meritorious Service Award in 2013 for her work on the Council’s board.
