Marc Pissens
President, Aviation World Wide; founder-President, ASSA-I; long-time CoESS Chairman
Marc Pissens is the President of Aviation World Wide, which provides security cover to 280 airports globally. He firmly believes that proper understanding between government agencies and private security is vital for a peaceful security environment.
A Belgian security industry leader with over 40 years’ experience spanning aviation security, intelligence analysis, emergency management, physical security and close protection, he served as President of Securitas Transport Aviation Services, building aviation security businesses across Europe, the US, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. He is also the founder and President of the Aviation Security Services Association – International (ASSA-I).
He chaired the Confederation of European Security Services (CoESS) for 18 years, where he was instrumental in the professionalisation of private security across Europe, and now serves as its Honorary Chairman. In 2021 he was appointed Strategic Advisor for Aviation Security to ICTS International and its subsidiary I-SEC.
