James Grimshaw
Former Managing Director International, GardaWorld; Non-Executive Director, Premier Shield
James A Grimshaw served for some 15 years with GardaWorld, the global group in private equity and private security services. Joining in 2004 during the business’s start-up phase, he rose through operational positions to become Managing Director International, responsible for growing P&Ls across emerging and complex markets, before leaving the group in 2019.
Alongside his commercial career, he assisted the United Nations Development Programme with Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) work in Afghanistan. He is presently a Non-Executive Director of Premier Shield in the United Kingdom, where he continues to draw on his experience of building security businesses in demanding environments.
