Co-Founder, Client Associates; pioneer of the Family Office concept in India
Himanshu Kohli is a Founder Partner of Client Associates, a leading Indian multi-family-office and private wealth advisory firm he co-founded in 2002, which today advises on roughly US$6 billion of client assets. With over 25 years of experience in investment and private banking, he is widely credited with pioneering the concepts of the ‘family office’ and portfolio reallocation in India, built around long-term friendships and partnerships.
Before founding Client Associates, he worked with Deutsche Bank, DSP Merrill Lynch and London Forfaiting Group. His recognitions include the Outstanding Young Private Banker Award (2010), Wealth Management Thought Leader 2019 from the Association of International Wealth Management of India, and Entrepreneur of the Year – Innovation in Financial Services (Entrepreneur India, 2023).
