Graham Hudson
Special Adviser to Assessment Professionals Internationally; GA Partnership
Graham Hudson has been a member of the international examination and assessment community for more than 35 years. He helped bring far-reaching educational reforms to the United Kingdom by developing electronic marking, introducing one of the first UK systems to scan examination scripts and mark from image — technology now widely used in the UK and globally.
While at the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) he was responsible for marking and data collection for the national Key Stage tests, and at DRS Data Services he was part of the team that delivered the first live on-screen marking of UK examinations from scanned scripts. He provides specialist skills to develop systems that reduce the pressures of examinations and assessments and achieve better results.
He leads the GA Partnership, an expert consultancy supporting national assessment reform, digital transition and procurement for examination bodies worldwide. A regular international conference speaker, including at OEB Global in Berlin, he has travelled extensively to promote and implement e-assessment solutions.
