
Gautam Mahajan
Founder Editor, Journal of Creating Value; President, Customer Value Foundation
Gautam Mahajan is a globally recognised thought leader in Customer Value and Value Creation. He is the Founder Editor of the Journal of Creating Value (SAGE) and President of the Customer Value Foundation, and mentors the worldwide Creating Value Alliance. He holds the honour of being a Fellow of Harvard Business School and of the Illinois Institute of Technology, which also conferred on him its Distinguished Alumni Award in 2001.
Earlier, Mahajan ran businesses for a Fortune 50 company in the USA for seventeen years and holds eighteen US patents. He has consulted for corporations including Alcoa, DuPont, GE, the Tatas and Godrej, and served as President of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the US India Economic Relations Forum. His books include Customer Value Investment, Total Customer Value Management and The Value Imperative.
A graduate of IIT Madras, where he was an Institute Merit Scholar, he holds a Master’s degree in Mechanics and an MBA from Suffolk University. He has chaired three Global Conferences on Creating Value and delivered lectures at prestigious forums and institutes across Europe, the USA and India.
