Dr Ameeta Mulla Wattal

Dr Ameeta Mulla Wattal is a well-known global educationist who serves as Chairperson and Executive Director — Education, Innovations and Training at the DLF Foundation, overseeing its schools and scholarship programmes. She was previously the long-serving Principal of Springdales School, Pusa Road, New Delhi, and has worked in the sphere of education for more than three decades.
A former Chairperson of the National Progressive Schools’ Conference, she received the National Teachers Award in 2005 from President Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and the Australian government’s Endeavour Award (2009-10) for her work in Asia literacy. Her international engagements have included the Oslo Coalition’s panel of experts at the Nobel Institute and a UNESCO committee in Geneva on education for peace and human rights.
