DP Singh
Former Vice President & HR Head, IBM India/South Asia
DP (Dilpreet) Singh is one of India’s best-known Human Resources professionals, with four decades of experience in HR. He capped a long career at IBM as Vice President and HR Head for IBM India/South Asia, where he was also a member of the Board of Directors of IBM India Ltd, having earlier held leadership roles including Director-HR at IBM Daksh and Area HR Leader for IBM North.
Since retiring from IBM, Singh has served as an Employability Consultant with Amazon Web Services (AISPL) and as Chief Advisor to the India chapter of the HR Policy Association, the leading public policy organization of chief human resource officers. He has also been a member of the HR Advisory Board of Markets & Markets.
After IBM he joined Chandigarh University as Senior Executive Vice President, later moving to the University’s Governing Body. Singh holds a master’s degree in HR from Punjab University and a law degree from Delhi University, and shares his perspective as an HR thought leader across professional forums.
