Don Aviv

Don Aviv, CPP, PSP, PCI, is the President of Interfor International, a 45-year-old corporate intelligence and security consulting firm headquartered in New York. He oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations and heads its Global Investigations and Security Consulting divisions, which handle complex investigations, intelligence gathering and security projects for Fortune 500 companies, private equity groups and family offices through a worldwide footprint.
Aviv served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College, teaching Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and has authored many articles on physical security, global investigations and security-related legal issues, also serving as an expert witness. Before Interfor, he was Global Security Manager for Parametric Technology Corporation, responsible for personnel and assets across 138 global field offices.
A Board Certified Protection Professional, Physical Security Professional and Professional Certified Investigator, he is a licensed New York State private investigator and a former Vice Chairman of the ASIS International Security Services Council. He holds a BA from the University of Rochester and an MS in Criminal Justice from Suffolk University.
