Col (Retd) V S Chandrawat is a Sena Medal (Gallantry) awardee with an excellent record in the realm of corporate security. A graduate of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, he holds a first-class Master’s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Madras University, and his core expertise lies in security management, crisis management and risk mitigation.
After taking premature retirement from the Indian Army in 2008, he moved into senior corporate security appointments with multinational companies and Indian corporate houses, and serves as Group Head – Security at the Adani Group. His professional portfolio spans investigations, public safety, business continuity, brand protection, hostage negotiation and due diligence.
A Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Col Chandrawat is a keen student of international and national security issues, counter-terrorism, special operations and security technology and systems.
