Aman Agarwal
Professor of Finance and Director, Indian Institute of Finance
Professor (Dr) Aman Agarwal is Professor of Finance, Dean (International Relations) and Director of the Indian Institute of Finance, and Executive Editor of Finance India, the institute’s quarterly refereed journal of finance. He was conferred a chair position by the St. Emilion Brotherhood in the heritage city of Bordeaux, France — an honour given to internationally renowned individuals.
Educated at some of the world’s most eminent universities and with a stint at the World Bank, he holds an honorary Doctorate of Finance from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France (2007) and an honorary professorship from Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan (2002). A visiting professor to universities across the USA, UK, Europe, Latin America, Russia and South Asia, he is the author of widely read research papers and has delivered keynote and plenary addresses at nearly 200 international and government forums.
