Creation of Pakistan: The Two Nation's Theory
The Two Nations Theory was a political concept that emerged in the early 20th century in the Indian subcontinent. It argued that Hindus and Muslims in the region were two distinct nations with different cultural, social, and political identities and that they could not coexist as a single nation-state. The theory was a key factor in the demand for the creation of a separate Muslim state, which eventually led to the formation of Pakistan in 1947.
