Creating Happiness at Workplace

This sounds too good to be true? Creating happiness at the workplace for businesses.

Many studies & workplace reports show that happiness has a direct correlation to your business’s bottom line.

A study cited by Harvard Business Review is part of a growing body of research on the impact of a positive organizational and happy environment on the benefits for employers and employees to ensure creating happiness at the workplace.

Here at NISSMAT Webinar, we want to help you create the happiest workplace possible so that you and your team can thrive. Our learned speaker shall discuss with you some of the top tips for taking your workplace vibes to soar heights.

For example, a morning greeting and Hello, to your employees can go a long way to creating happiness at your workplace. Sometimes give them a nudge in the morning with a broad smile indicating that you are happy with their work and you love your team members and the job being performed by them.

On occasions like their birthdays, wedding anniversaries, festival occasions, a small gift sent to your employees works like a miracle. The opening of the small gift box would make them feel re-energized and inspired to do their best at the workplace.

You can even ask team members how they want to be recognized for a job well done. Send out a quick email to get their feedback as to how they prefer to be recognized or complimented.

Everyone wants to feel important about the work they are doing at their workplace.

For Team members to feel good about the work they are producing, they need to fully understand the company’s mission and purpose. So, it’s your job to make sure they know what that looks like. The greater access you have to the inner happiness of your employees, the greater your experience of success would be.

Success does not breed happiness – it’s the other way around by creating happiness at the workplace

Another way to make work fulfilling is to get your Team members involved in partnering with local charity works.

You should also make it known that work & life balance is a priority by offering them work from home & giving incentives to improve a team member’s overall quality of individual life.

Further, whether through food, physical exercise, or mindfulness tactics, incentivize their wellness. Showing your team you want them to live happy, healthy lifestyles is another way of showing them how important they are to your company.

A happy work environment attracts good people and in turn, promotes a culture of productivity and accountability.

Further, no working person likes to be micromanaged. If employees feel like they are constantly on their boss’s radar, they are not going to perform the way they normally would.

The employer should also try to launch an Individual Development Plan to assist employees in career and personal development. Its primary purpose should be to help employees reach short and long-term career goals and also improve current job performance by creating happiness at the workplace.

The word “Happiness” is related mostly to the feeling of the emotion of happiness, pleasure, or joy. The feeling of what one experiences such as the quality of life and overall appreciation of life as a whole, creates Happiness.

For creating Happiness at Workplace the office should be made a Vibrating Personality and not just a drab and boring place. The environment to create happiness involves a spontaneous appreciation of the work of your employees and ensuring recognition of the work done by them. Everyone should feel that his/her work is important for the organization. The employee should be offered perks & incentives when due. By investing in the wellness and growth of the team members, the workplace can become a Happy place.
